Spirituality is very practical and there is nothing like daily life to remind us of that. When my 2 boys became teenagers, I was reminded that living my spiritual values was not a lofty state to be experienced on a yoga mat, it was instead an extremely practical “lifestyle” choice. I’m sure I’m not the first mom who seemingly overnight, went from being the parent who was loved, and cherished to being viewed as annoying, embarrassing, and intrusive. When it happened to me, I was shocked, devastated and experienced the pain of daily rejection. I also was reminded that my experience was my perception. I knew I could choose to use these difficult moments as points for my spiritual growth. Spirituality as Daily Practice I had been using my daily life as my spiritual practice for years. I knew it was my job to keep myself in a state of ...
Living on planet earth we always exist between two opposites. Literally, as our planet is held in its orbit by opposing energetic forces and polarity’s influence doesn’t stop there. Life-death. Beginnings-endings. Hot-cold. Up-down. Here-there. Young-old. Peaceful-anxious. These very basic opposing states make up your daily life and dichotomy seems to exist within each of us as well. We are indeed Multi Christo beings capable of wonder and despair. As we move in our daily lives, we always have choice and our choice is always birthed between two opposites. As choice is emerging it often appears as difficulty in disguise. What is simply opportunity unfolding, is so easily missed when you are distracted by the events themselves. Turn your use of polarity around! When difficulty arises, instead of bemoaning your fate and getting lost in the distraction of the situation, celebrate the Law of Polarity and ask: “What choice is being ...
“Hope is an awakened dream, wake up now.” Hope is an expression of living in an open state. It’s a place of light and freedom that is experienced when we awaken to our natural inheritance of love and live that inheritance daily. The physical world often seems to be the antithesis of love. It can be difficult and taxing. We often respond by shutting down, closing up and forgetting who we truly are. Through these actions we move away from the light and often lose our way. BUT…… What if irritations and challenging moments were meant for us to use as an alarm clock to remind us to respond from love? What if pain and sadness existed solely as a reminder for us to choose kindness, patience, compassion, wisdom or gratitude as our response? What if you chose to witness the chaos around you without adding to it? What if ...
Choice is your freedom. It’s the physical manifestation of the free will that you were given when you entered the physical world. Choice is one of your most powerful spiritual tools. You may have all the awareness in the world but if you don’t recognize the choice you have in any given moment you miss your opportunity to move forward. Choice exists between two opposites. Often when you’re going through a shift in any part of your life you experience friction or stagnation. This is a sign that a choice is at hand. ...
Words carry frequency. Frequency affects your state of being and our world at large. As you speak words you are actually contributing vibration into the field. Positive charge, Negative charge. You may know this truth, but how actively do you consciously consider your words? What frequency are you putting into the field? Consider this each time you respond to another from a charged emotional state. In addition to being mindful of what you say, words spoken as affirmations, are potent tools for manifestation and transformation. Have you been working towards manifesting a desire?Have you been seeking to transform pieces of your humanity into the divinity of who you are? ...
“Stand in the light and be seen as you are” How many times have you hidden your light? Can you can you remember? Do you recall the moment when you were about to speak your truth and then stopped? Or the time you wanted to say “I love you” and didn’t. Perhaps it was the opportunity that came your way that was perfect, but you let it pass thinking you were not yet “ready”. We are continuously given moments where we have the opportunity to own the light that we truly are. Stand in the light to be seen as you are, that is your responsibility to you and to us all! ...
Knowledge actualized becomes experience. Experience repeated becomes wisdom. Wisdom is powerful but not mysterious. Many people believe that wisdom comes with age and they miss opportunities to make wise choices. How do we become wise? We gain knowledge that enables us to make choices, that serve our higher good and the higher good of all. We leave behind choices that benefit the immediate wants of our life stream that may not truly serve. We move forward with the knowledge gleaned and we actualize it into actions. We repeat the process over and over again. KNOWLEDGE/ACTION/EXPERIENCE = WISDOM Wisdom is rarely a fully activated quality when we are born into our bodies. But is indeed one that each of us can cultivate and activate with our free will. Where in your life can you being to make choices that represent your higher good? ...
“Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.”– Rabindranath Tagore How wonderful to be gifted with the quality of faith. The certainty that we hold, that isn’t shaken or shifted regardless of what unfolds. But I have no faith, you say.And I gently remind you that of course you do. You go to sleep every night and never concern yourself with how you will breathe as your brain rests and you enter the great mystery. You arise every day without instruction to your blood to flow and your lungs to breath and your heart to beat. This is faith. This is you knowing that your body will continue to function every day without your brain and ego overseeing the process. This is you believing. This is you holding faith. ...
We are energy in form. Frequency in Humanity. Our energy is a vibration of the highest intelligence. We refer to it as Love. It is the source from which we were birthed, it is our spiritual DNA. Our Humanity refers to our personality, our history in this Lifestream, our physicality, emotional body and thinking mind, our physical DNA. Our daily life takes place in the physical world and while the rules of physicality prevail so too does our spiritual inheritance. Chaos happens and we have choice as to our response to the events that the physical world presents. We can choose to respond from our humanity and express Irritation, anger, greed, jealously intolerance, hate, impatience, and judgement . OR We can invoke our Divinity and respond with kindness, tolerance, patience, generosity, gratitude, grace, wisdom, and understanding. When we respond to chaos with more of the same, we create additional turmoil. When we respond ...
“Knowledge Actualized becomes experience and Experience repeated becomes Wisdom.” I know that. I understand that. I experienced that. I am that. The brain can only recognize that which it knows. In order for us as Lifestreams to “become” the knowledge that we gain, we must utilize more than our brain. Our emotional system, and our Intuitive body must be included in the effort. We need to move forward from (egoic mind) “I KNOW THAT” to “I UNDERSTAND THAT” (thinking mind) and we must “experience” the new truth taking it into the emotional body, (I experience that) where we “experience” our new understanding. In order for the knowledge which has become experience to be fully activated in our Lifestream, we need to bring this new understanding into our daily life and have it show up as our actions. This is where we access the Intuitive body. Responding to situations form our ...
